The new KENYA (0.5 l, 17 oz.) Tea Press brings an organic design update to a BODUM classic. The outer oval cutout frame brings a design flair to your table while allowing you to watch brewing process. The press pot itself is made from ultra light, heat-resistant borosilicate glass which allows tea lovers to visually enjoy the rich colors of their favorite teas. Simply place loose leaf tea directly into the strainer and fill pot with hot water. Allow the tea to steep as desired. Pressing the plunger pushes the tea leaves below the infusion holes and cuts off access between the water and the tea leaves, completely stopping the brewing process. With this press-pot method, the infuser does not need to be removed in order to prevent bitter over-brewing. If a second pot is desired, simply lift plunger and add hot water to re-use tea leaves. Tea bags may also be used instead of loose leaves. The entire unit is dishwasher-safe. Also available in (1.0 l, 34 oz.) size model.
