Customer satisfaction is very important to us, therefore Bodum allows 30 days for the return of unused products, based on the date the item was received by the customer.

Returns and damages caused by misuse or non-household use are not covered within this policy and are purely at the discretion of Bodum. Items received with broken glass are not considered defective products. Bodum must be notified of any breakage within five business days.

Please refer to our RETURN PROCESS to begin.

The following may NOT be returned:

  • Any item without customer service authorization.
  • Used or damaged items
  • Discontinued products.
  • Products that are not in their original packaging and containing all accessories.
  • Items over 30 days of the shipment receipt date.

The following may be returned:

  • Products that are new, unused, unaltered and contain all original product packaging and accessories.
  • Items under 30 days of the shipment receipt date.

We offer refunds on unused merchandise, less of any associated return and shipping fees. The Return fees comprise of:

  • Credit card transaction fees.
  • 15% restocking fees.
  • Shipping charges.

RETURN PROCESS:

To return an item:

  1. Contact Bodum via email at info@bodumusa.com or toll free number 1-800-23-BODUM - option 4, to receive a Return Authorization number.
  2. Use the return label below and clearly indicate the Return Authorization number in the provided field. Returns with an invalid, expired or missing RA will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.
  3. Ensure that your return is being sent to us with a traceable carrier and retain the tracking number for your records. Bodum is not responsible for any items that were lost or damaged in transit.

To place or follow up on an order or return, or for general product information call customer care at 1-800-23-BODUM, Monday through Friday from 8 AM - 6 PM EST, any message left would be responded to within 24 hours. We can also be contacted via e-mail, again, please allow 24hrs for a response.

Can I change or cancel my order? Return to top

If you need to change or cancel your order please contact BODUM customer service immediately at 1-800-23-BODUM or send an e-mail to info@bodumusa.com. We will make every effort to accommodate all order modification requests, however our goal is to ship to our customers as quickly as possible. This leaves a short window of time to alter or cancel orders before processing has begun. BODUM will not be held responsible for unfilled change requests. Please note that refused packages are subject to a 50% restocking fee and return freight charge. If you need to return an order please follow our standard return policy

What if I have a Bodum item that was purchased at another store outside of the continental United States, and I want to return it? Return to top

Any Bodum item purchased from another store must be returned to the store where it was originally purchased for proper credit.

Unfortunately, returns on orders purchased outside of the United States cannot be accepted.

Do I have to pay for shipping on returned items? Return to top

YES, if you return an item, we will credit you for the cost of the product and related taxes you paid – less restocking fees. We do not cover the cost of shipping unless we made an error by sending you the incorrect product.

How do I obtain a refund? Return to top

Please note, we will only refund or pay shipping costs if the return is a result of a Bodum error. The crediting process will begin once the product has been received and inspected. Credits will not be issued for products that do not meet our return policy requirements. Please allow 30 days for the processing of credits.

If I received something as a gift, but prefer cash, can I have the refund sent to me? Return to top

Unfortunately, we are not able to issue credits to anyone other than the original purchaser. All credits will appear on the credit card of the original purchaser.

What if my order is defective? Return to top

It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect all items upon receipt. Bodum must be notified of any breakage or damages occurred during transit within five business days.

Damaged or defective items can be reported to us by sending an e-mail or calling our customer care center at 1-800-23-BODUM.

There is no warranty on glass products.
